Kozy Cooler

Soak in cool water for approximately 20 minutes, pat dry with towel to remove excess water. Shortly after soaking, cooler will feel dry and cool to the touch. Tie around neck to stay cool for hours! For colder scarf, refrigerate. After several days, as cooler dehydrates, re-soak as needed. Hand wash only with antibacterial hand soap and water. Rinse quickly. Hang to dry. Do not store in a closed bag or an airtight container. Made in U.S.A. Nontoxic ingredients. Do not Swallow.

Kozy Collar Therapy products provide non-invasive, non-pharmaceutical, first line heat/cold therapy as indicated for relaxation, pain-management and relief of arthritis, minor muscle aches, sprains and pains. Kozy Collar products are not recommended for any purpose other than its intended use as set forth on package labeling. May be used on children with adult supervision. ** Do not use on infants.

Instructions:

1. Place folded Kozy Collar in clean microwave. Make sure the Kozy Collar does not touch the sides of the microwave.
2. Microwave on high about 2 - 3 minutes. Since microwave ovens vary, adjust the heat time as needed. 30 seconds more or less.
3. Always touch test the Kozy Collar Products for comfortable/safe heat level before using.
4. For commercial microwaves such as convenient stores, do not exceed 1-minute heat time. Use a clean plate to heat it on. Touch test for safe temperature prior to using.

For the Best Use and Care of your Kozy Collar:

Microwave preparation: Clean microwave to eliminate food particles and/or fluid residue. These can create hot spots and otherwise damage you Kozy Collar.

*If using Kozy Collar several times a day, allow Kozy Collar to cool down to room temperature for 1 hour prior to re-heating it at full 2 - 3 minutes. Mist with water before heating. If additional heat is desired, after using your Kozy Collar for 25 - 30 minutes, mist with water & heat it for a maximum time of 1 minute.

Storage: Preferred storage is in the freezer in a sealed container. This increases the longevity of the aromatherapy, assists in providing a healthy moist heat when microwaving it and provides cold therapy whenever it is needed. (You may microwave your frozen Kozy Collar.)

Cleaning: Wipe surface (clean water only), with damp cloth. Allow to dry before using. Microwaving sanitizes it. "DO NOT immerse in any type of liquid - this will harm your Kozy Collar products.

For moist heat: Either:

• Take out of freezer and microwave about 2 minutes, adding additional 15-30 seconds as needed.
• Lightly mist with water before heating. Touch test temperature before applying.

Note:

The Kozy Collar patented shape & channeled design is comfortably weighted to provide a penetrating deep heat that is slowly released. At first, temperature may feel lukewarm, but after contacting it with your body surface, you'll soon notice the deep heat relaxing your tight muscles and easing discomfort.

Cold Therapy:

Kozy Collar products may be stored in the freezer, in a freezer container. It will provide soft cold therapy whenever it is desired (minimum freeze time is 1 hr.). When using it cold, turn over after the first 10 minutes of wearing to achieve 20 minutes of chilled therapy at a time.

Cautions: Do not overheat

*User should cleanse treatment area from body lotions, oils or gels prior to the application of the product. Contact with these can cause harm od alter the effectiveness of the Kozy Collar.

**Persons with diabetes, circulatory problems, nerve damage, paralysis, or insensitive skin may use only under Doctor supervision and guidance. Persons with fragile, thin, or broken skin should not use this or any other heating product.

• Kozy Collar products are available in Non-scented and Aromatherapy styles.
• The Aromatherapy is derived from the genuine herbs: lavender, chamomile, peppermint, and spearmint. Do not use if allergic to any of these herbs.
